ICoN’s teaching courses
Online degree course in Italian Language and Culture for Foreigners
The degree course in Italian Language and Culture is a three-year program that has been offered online since 2001 by the ICoN Consortium on behalf of the universities belonging to the partnership.
The course, aimed at foreign students and Italian students residing abroad, offers a solid basic preparation in the Italian Humanities and has allowed students living in over 70 countries to obtain a bachelor’s degree that is the equivalent of a degree obtained from an Italian university.
First-Level University Master’s degree programs
The Master’s degree programs offered by ICoN are vocational programs that prepare the enrolled students to work in the following sectors: teaching of Italian, specialized translation and the preservation and promotion of Italian cultural heritage.
Conceived as a continuation of the three-year degree course in Italian Language and Culture, the ICoN Master’s degree programs are also open to students from other university courses and are offered online, with brief periods of face-to-face classes.
Courses for teachers
The training and refresher courses for teachers are the result of agreements with international companies and associations that turn to ICoN to meet the training requirements of Italian teachers worldwide with flexibility.
Training takes place completely online or else through blended learning, a modality that alternates online and face-to-face teaching.
Italian language courses
ICoN’s online Italian language courses are designed by experts in the teaching of the Italian language and offered with flexible and personalized formulas. These courses share an educational philosophy inspired by the learning-by-doing principle, that is: “learning from experiences resulting directly from one’s own actions”.
The core of the educational offer is the basic courses corresponding to the six levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, accessible through e-learning or self-learning, or as digital textbooks for face-to-face learning.
These basic courses are enhanced by teaching products specifically aimed at certain profiles – for example, private students, high school and university students – that ICoN designs by establishing collaborations with international companies and associations.
